On August 13, 2020, the Texas Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers came together virtually for the Celebrating Design Texas Awards, formerly known as the Legacy of Design Awards, and annual meeting. This was the first virtual awards celebration. The chapter consists of six design communities across the state (Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, San Antonio and West Texas) and includes interior designers, industry partners, educators and students. Celebrating Design Texas celebrates and honors winners of a juried design competition in both residential and commercial interior design.
